Dog-lover and actress Olivia Munn has paired with on-demand dog walking app Wag! to produce and star in new commercial for the company.

I’ll be honest. My six-year-old teaches me things. Not long ago, after playing some game on his iPad, he came to me and said, “Mama. You need to go to Wag! and get a dog walker for Lilly (our puppy).” I wondered what the heck he was talking about and found Wag!’s site.

It’s pretty amazing! It is basically a network of safe and pre-checked dog walkers in your community, ready to assist you to walk your dog at any time of the day, should you not be able to. We travel a bit, and there are often times we might return later than we thought we would, so my son reasoned something like this would be fabulous. He reasoned right.

Wag! wants to help pet owners help their pets, and they do so easily. Actress, producer and animal lover Olivia Munn loved their mission so much she decided to become involved as both an investor and a Creative Strategist. Munn has two rescue dogs she adores, and has always advocated for the well-being of animals everywhere.

Munn says that she loves how Wag! keeps our four-legged friends happy and healthy when we can’t be there to do so, and she loves how it helps both humans’ and dogs’ lives the best they can be. So much so that she has now produced and stars in a new commercial promoting the awesome app.

CEO and Co-founder of Wag! Josh Viner says that Munn’s creative suggestions and passion for pets is what makes their partnership so fabulous. His inspiration for starting Wag! was because he himself knows what it’s like to be a loving pet owner and a busy human in the world.

Pet owners can have their dog walked in as little as 30 minutes, and the walks are tracked in real-time using GPS through the app. At the end of each walk, pet owners are given a ‘pup report’ that shares a video or picture of their pet, as well as a detailed map of what walking route was taken and info on the business end of things (such as what, where and when the pet actually did their business!). Best of all? Walkers are at your fingertips 24/7!

Wag! is a sponsor of Rescue Bank and gives proceeds from every Wag! walk to shelters nationwide to help feed pets. They also work directly with local Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York shelters. If you download the Wag! app from the Apple store or Google Play, you can get your first walk free!

What are you waiting for? Get to walking (your dog)!
