This just in: the CNN news anchor has adopted a beautiful puppy. After the loss of his adored dog Molly, it’s obvious that Anderson Cooper still has much more love to give.

It’s no secret that Anderson Cooper loves dogs. He donated his speaking fee to cover the cost of much needed bullet proof vests for Virginia police’s K9 Unit. And he was heartbroken when his beloved pooch, Molly, passed away a few months ago. But we’re so happy that he’s opened his heart and his home to Lilly, a Welsh Springer Spaniel puppy.

He posted an adorable picture on Instagram, showing off his new addition, with the caption: “My dog Molly passed away a few months ago. This weekend Lilly showed up! She’s a Welsh Springer Spaniel.

The picture on the left is Lilly, and the one on the left is the photo he shared with the world on the day Molly passed away.

Anderson and Lilly look like perfect pair, and we wish them many more wonderful photo opportunities together!
