No Doot Aboot it – B.C. Beagle Miss P announced as 2015 Westminster Dog Show’s top dog.

Way to go Miss P! This 4-year-old Beagle from Enderby, B.C., was named best in show at the 2015 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. After picking up a win in the Hound Category, she went on to nab the top spot, making it a proud day for Canadian dogs everywhere (including Oscar!).

Miss P (short for Peyton, but her official champion’s name is Tashtins Lookin for Trouble) is the grandniece of Uno, who happens to be the only other beagle to ever be named Best in Show at the world-renown dog competition. Miss P is owned by Lori Crandlemire of Tashtin Kennels, who also bred Uno.

But Miss P wasn’t the only Canadian in the ring. She was also up against Matisse, a Portuguese Water Dog born in Arthur, ON (a favorite to win and a cousin of President Barack Obama’s dog, Sunny) and Flame, a black Standard Poodle from Toronto, ON, who took the non-sporting group title.

Way to go Miss P!
