At first glance, you’d think this was a giant metal monument of man’s best friend… and you’d be wrong. This shiny, happy puppy is the work of Bikismo, who painted this mural at a middle school for the RAW Project.

Bikismo, a Puerto Rican muralist, painted this metallic masterpiece in four days, using only his amazing talent and spray-paint. The mirror-like reflections are playing with your eyes. In fact, Bikismo painted local vistas within the body of the dog. The mural seems to come to life – I almost believe he’s waiting for a passer-by to play a game of fetch with him!

The RAW Project (taking place during Art Basel 2014 in Miami) brings local and international street artists and muralists together to showcase a dynamic range of art. This year, the artists participating in RAW are using Jose de Diego Middle School in the Wynwood Arts District as their canvas. The profits will help raise money for a magnet program for the arts, as well as bringing color to the walls of the neighborhood school.
