The cold days may make you want to hibernate, but Subaru of America wants you to ‘Seize the Snow Days’ with their Winterfest Lifestyle Tour!

The holidays are over, but still, winter lingers on. And on. But Subaru of America, Inc., is looking to take the winter ‘blahs’ and turn them into amazing days for ‘winter warriors’ by kicking off its Subaru WinterFest 2017.

Subaru takes pride in offering a car that allows people to pursue their passions, including winter ones. That’s why its all-wheel-drive vehicles were made to handle everything that power skiers, snowboarders and winter aficionados need. To celebrate winter, and all the fun it brings, Subaru will stop at 12 resorts across the U.S. so that all cold weather fanatics can enjoy live music, food and drink, as well participate in giveaways and gear demonstrations.

Partnering with POWDER Lifestyle CO., and its event production group, Human Movement, the Subaru Winterfest hopes to fuel the winter adventure lifestyle in 11 different states, and will feature music from local DJs in each location. Also sponsored by Nordica, Lib Tech, Thule, Klean Kanteen and Under Armour, the WinterFest stops will echo its Love Promise commitment to the outdoors, and to supporting animals and pets that work with the National Ski Patrol.

Together, Subaru and the National Ski Patrol will create a scholarship fund that sends ski patrollers and their service dogs to Wasatch Back Country Rescue‘s avalanche dog training school. Avalanche rescue dogs help ski patrol units by searching larger areas in less time than even a dozen humans could, and during Subaru’s WinterFest, Subaru will donate $1 to the scholarship fund for every information form they receive at WinterFest events. At each event, there will also be live demonstrations by the Ski Patrol with their dogs, and we have to tell you–what those dogs do is pretty amazing to see!
