And they’re off… to a wonderful start! Go Pet Friendly’s Ultimate Pet Friendly Road Trip is on the road, and making a pit stop at a city near you.

On the road again! It always seems that when we talk to Amy Burkert, the woman behind the wheel at GoPetFriendly.com, she’s off to another cool adventure. And when she asked if PetGuide.com would like to come along on the Ultimate Pet Friendly Road Trip – along with husband, Rod, and two fur-kids, Ty and Buster – as they steer their Class A Motorhome to 48 states over the course of 10 months.

We had a chance to chat with Amy about the first stop on their Road Trip.

“The Ultimate Pet Friendly Road Trip is off to a fantastic start! The kick-off event in Carmel was a big success with all shapes, sizes, and breeds of pets coming out to join in the fun. The SPCA for Monterey County had adoptable pets there, and the highlight of the day was when ‘Woody’ found his forever family. We’re so excited for them, and with them a lifetime of fun adventures together.”

We’re so jealous – stuck behind a desk all day while Amy gets to play with other dogs and hand out lots of free swag!

Is the Ultimate Pet Friendly Road Trip coming to a city near you? If so, be sure to pop by for some sweet swag and the chance to win tons of awesome prizes, including a Lucy Pet Products’ Surfin Jack Moisturizing Gift Pack, courtesy of PetGuide.com!
