Is there such a thing as overdosing on dogs? It’s been two full days of dogs galore. I’ve met people and dogs from around the world; learned about the dog show industry; and petted so many pooches, I think Oscar is going to be able to smell them all on me when I get home tomorrow!

It’s been another spectacular year at Westminster, and I can’t wait until next year’s event. Until then, here’s our round up from day of 2017’s Westminster Dog Show:

Sporting Group Winner

Irish Setter: GCH CH Vermilion’s Sea Breeze

Working Group Winner

Boxer: GCH CH Mephisto’s Speak Of The Devil

Terrier Group Winner

Norwich Terrier: GCHS CH Taliesin Twice As Nice

2017 Best in Show

German Shepherd: GCH CH Lockenhaus’ Rumor Has It V Kenlyn

Her love of animals began in kindergarten, when she brought her stuffed dog Snoopy into class with her every day. Now, she writes about her adventures in pet ownership and tirelessly researches products, news and health related issues she can share with other animal enthusiasts. In her free time, Amy loves perusing used book and record stores, obsessing over the latest pet products available and chasing squirrels with wild abandon (a habit attributed to spending too much time with her pooches).
