It’s time to roll out the yumminess with our Roll Out The Oats Dog Treat Recipe. There’s a little bit of everything in here and it all adds up to a delicious homemade dog treat. We added in some wheat bran into this recipe, because dogs need fiber too!


Roll Out The Oats Dog Treat Recipe


Makes about 30 cookies


Ingredients:


2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour


1/2 cup wheat bran


1/2 cup rolled oats


1 cup beef broth


1/2 cup olive oil


2 eggs


3 tablespoons peanut butter


1 tsp cinnamon


Directions:


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix together flour, oats, wheat bran and cinnamon. Add in broth, oil, eggs and peanut butter and mix well.
  3. Flour a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to ¼ inch thickness. Cut the dough using a cookie cutter. Place the biscuits onto non-stick cookie sheet.
  4. Bake the cookies for 25 minutes. Let cool and harden on cooling racks. Refrigerate or freeze cookies in an air-tight container or bag.
