Well, shucks – isn’t Huckleberry, our Adoptable Dog of the Week, a real sweetie pie? Huckleberry is an adult male Rhodesian Ridgeback and Pitbull Terrier mix who’s waiting for his forever home in Billings, Montana. He’s already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Huckleberry’s Tale:

This handsome guy is named Huckleberry. A good Samaritan noticed him living on the streets so one day she opened her car door for him and he jumped right in! He quickly made friends with the other dogs and cats in the house and loves to play with the male Pitbull. They even snuggle together on the same bed when sleeping. He is respectful of the household cats and finds the bossy little dog amusing. Mostly he just gives the little guys their space.

At only 2 years old, Huckleberry has a lot of puppy in him. He’s energetic and playful but not crazy. We describe him as a Velcro dog because he really enjoys being with his person or another big four-legged companion.
