We’d like you to meet Katie, our Adoptable Dog of the Week from Adoptapet.com. Katie is a female adult German Shorthaired Pointer from Omaha, Nebraska. She is already spayed, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Katie’s Story:

Meet Katie! She is a 5-year-old sweetheart of a girl. Katie is good with other dogs and kids. She can get excited and knock over a younger child. She is housetrained and crate trained. Katie has a wonderful and happy disposition. Katie has completed 60 days of bird dog training. She is also registered. Katie loves to play with toys, especially the squeaky ones! Katie is leash trained and she walks better using the harness. She will pull some but not hard. Once she gets to know you she will come when called. Katie currently is in a foster home with a 6 foot fence. She goes to the dog park and it has a 4 to 5 foot fence and hasn’t challenged it. If you think Katie would be a good addition to your family please fill out an application at greatpointers.org. Right now, Katie is being fostered in Minnesota.
