If you’re the sporty type and are looking for a pooch who can keep up with you, Levi is the dog for you! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is a six-month-old male Labrador Retriever mix from Newell, Iowa. Levi is neutered, up-to-date on shots, likes dogs, and likes children.

Levi’s Tale:

Levi is an awesome, handsome, enthusiastic, friendly guy with LOTS of energy. He is a mellow six month old puppy who loves everybody… well, except squirrels or rabbits. He gets very excited when he sees one of those critters, so he needs a secure fenced area so that he can’t take of in pursuit of some small prey.

He is definitely NOT a tie-outside dog – right now, he is comfortable with his heated/cooled den, and his comfy blanket, which he loves to drag out through the pet door! Levi is definitely a house dog, but he needs LOTS of exercise and attention. He would play fetch all day and he loves tennis balls… his favorite balls are red, but he really isn’t too fussy. He also loves his half-deflated soccer ball.

Levi would make a great companion for an active family with the time and energy to help him develop his full potential. To know him is to love him.
