Meet Zoe (AKA Angel), our Adoptable Dog of the Week. She’s an adult Doberman Pinscher mix from Vancouver, BC. She’s already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zoe’s Story:

This beautiful 5-year-old Doberman is a delight. She greets you with a big toothy smile, lots of love, and is really a puppy at heart. Angel is a devoted companion with no health issues.

She is in obedience training and, true to her breed, loves working with people and learning new things. Zoe has heaps of energy and needs lots of exercise, structure and a predictable routine in her day. She adores hiking with her owner in the mountains in the winter snow or summer with all the new smells. She is an excellent swimmer and, if there is a squirrel in the woods, she’ll forget she’s a dog and try to climb trees after them!

She sleeps in her own bed at night in the family room and will stay there until morning. She is a great dog for walking but she needs a little work on her leash manners.

Zoe is protective of her human, is house-trained and would do anything for love or food… She adores her food! This includes eating ice and any fruit or vegetables. She will counter surf unless you keep an eye on her, the little minx! Her ideal home would have a large lot, lots of walks, and someone who is Doberman experienced.

She needs to be the only dog in the home, but is fine with cats. Her current foster home has four and there have been no incidents.

Zoe is a sweet, loving dog who deserves a great home.
