A furry guest crashed a Russian morning news show — and he became the news when he greeted the surprised anchor woman live on TV!

During a morning newscast on Russian television MIR24, anchorwoman Ilona Linarte was surprised when a furry guest of the canine variety happened to say hello as she was delivering a story about a local demolition.

For her part, Linarte tried to maintain decorum, but the doggy wasn’t having it as he was looking for some treats, or at the very least, some pets! When she saw it was a dog who was interrupting her serious report, she said in Russian, “What is this dog doing in the studio?”

Good question! Seems he was with another guest on the show for a later spot, but somehow wound up getting loose and giving himself a self-guided tour.

Still, even though Linarte says she’s a cat person, the dog was able to end the segment with a beautiful smile and a couple of pets, proving that even cat people can’t resist a dog with winning personality!

Looks like no one will be bringing their dogs to work anytime soon!
