The elusive new furry family member of Prince Harry and his Princess, Meghan Markle, has a name that might just be a nod to their upcoming fall tour of Australia!

Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle will be taking their first official trip together this October, and their new Labrador retriever may just remind them of the visit forever, according to biographer Sally Bedell Smith.

In a recent interview, the author said that not only was the new fur baby a black Labrador Retriever, she also shared that his name was Oz. While this could, of course, refer to the land of the Great Wizard of Oz (it is Harry, after all!), many are wondering if the name is in reference to where the newly married couple will travel on official palace duty–Australia, New Zealand and Tonga this fall.

The new royal has still been able to skirt PUParazzi looking for photographs (no pressure, Your Highnesses!), Bedell says that Oz is living quite happily with Meghan’s other pup, Guy, and travels between Nottingham Cottage (at Kensington Palace) and the couple’s home in the Cotswolds. Meghan’s other rescue pup lives regally with friends as he was they felt the journey across the pond would be difficult for the old boy, and Guy is the star of a newly released book!

Meghan’s love for four-legged canine friends makes her a natural fit for the royal family, as there is a long tradition of the Queen going goo-goo for corgis, as well Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall (and Prince Charle’s wife) being the patron for Battersea Home For Dogs. In fact, the Princess’s pups have been part of the royal family since before she even married Harry, with Guy catching a ride to the wedding with the Queen herself.

Welcome to the (Royal) family, Oz! We can’t wait to officially see you!
