What a handsome heartthrob! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Sammy, a year and a half old Labrador Retriever and Pitbull mix from Columbus, Ohio. This sweet little guy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, crate trained, and housebroken. Sammy gets along with other dogs and he’s also good with kids.

Sammy’s Tale

As a Labrador Retriever and Pitbull mix, Sammy is actually considered to be a designer dog breed- the Bullador. And like most others Bulladors, he’s also a sweet, gentle, loving dog who has a lot of energy. He inherits a bit from both of his parents, which is great considering that both breeds have a lot of lovely qualities to offer. In other words, Sammy is a total rockstar. His favorite activities include playing with other pups, cuddling, and car rides. This lovely doggo might be shy when you first meet him, but it really doesn’t take long for him to warm up- especially if you visit armed with a few treats.

Sammy gets along with other dogs who are sweet-natured and playful as him. He’d love to have a canine roommate in his new home! To boot, he also doesn’t mind kiddos as he’s very good with them. It’s just better if they’re older kids, so his size doesn’t make a problem when they play together. The fact that Sammy is such a sweetheart and such a well-behaved dog makes him a fantastic pet for children to grow up alongside. He is also crate trained, housebroken and a favorite at his doggie daycare- you won’t have to worry about this handsome fella’s manners!

Sammy is a great looking pooch with a wonderful personality to match. If you think that he sounds like he’d fit in perfectly with your family, contact Columbus Pittie Committee for more information on how to adopt him.
