DIY Flower Pot to Dog Water Bowl
If you want a stylish, unique dog water bowl for your backyard or garden, this DIY project should definitely be on your to-do list. It’s crazy inexpensive- it might even be completely free if you use a planter and bowl you already have, and takes less than 5 minutes put it all together. Seriously, it doesn’t get any better than this.
Check out your local dollar tree for a fab selection of cheap and cute flower pots or go through your garden shed- you never know what you might find there- and get to work!
What You’ll Need
- a flower pot– you can use any type you want, I used Grecian urn planter– a good choice if you want a raised water bowl for larger dogs!
- water bowl– I used a stainless steel one.
- optional: s ilicone glue
- Place your pet’s water bowl inside the flower pot- and that’s it! Pour fresh water and watch your pooch cool themselves on a warm summer day.
- Optional: In case the bowl is not a snug fit, and you don’t want to switch it with another, you can use silicone adhesive to glue it together. This might make it a bit difficult to clean though, as you can’t just take the water bowl and dump it in a dishwasher.
