This short-legged charmer has high hopes of finding his furever family! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Tank, a little over 1 year old Terrier and Basset Hound mix from Willingboro, New Jersey. This cute doggo is neutered, house trained, crate trained, and up to date on his vaccines. Tank is a sweet and friendly pooch that does well with other pets and gets along with well-mannered children.

Tank’s Tale

Found as a stray, Tank might not have had the best start in life, but his bubbly personality and sweet soul definitely don’t show it. Weighing 35 pounds, he’s just the right size for an apartment and a house both- he’ll definitely have no problem fitting in any family with his lovely temperament. Tank is a happy-go-lucky pooch that loves being in the center of the attention: there’s nothing he loves more than being showered with love and affection! To boot, he’s a smart cookie as well and he is already house trained, crate trained, and walks great on a leash. You won’t have your work cut out for you with Tank- all he needs is someone to love him and share adventures with!

Tank is a friendly pooch that gets along with almost everybody- he is fine with kids, seems to not mind the cats in his foster home, and he gets along great with any dog he had the chance to meet through his fosters. He would be a great match for families of all shapes and sizes: couples, parents with kids, big families with other pets, and singles. As long as you have some treats, toys, and belly rubs to offer, Tank will shower you with love.
