This Australian photographer didn’t choose the Pug Life – it chose him. From Pug Master Flash to Ice Puge, meet all the furry faces in this collection of super-fly pet portraits.

Talk about cornering a niche market, Australian photographer Adam Jackman-Moore has it in spades with his Pug Life portraits.

Perth-based Jackman-Moore owns and operates The Dog Photographers studio where he regularly takes the standard “sit pretty” type of pet portraits for doting parents. But a passion for the flat-faced, big-eyed pug has drawn him to a lucrative sideline of capturing some rather quirky images of the expressive pooch.

His most recent project is called The Pug Life and includes photos reflective of the 80s and 90s hip hop culture. Seriously, its Pugs like you’ve never seen them before: a dozen furry thug pugs dressed as DJs, Gangstas, and Rap Stars.

According to Jackman-Moore, “This is purely a fun project on a slightly left from center subject matter”. Each week he “introduces” one of his featured dawgs with a little background on the character that inspired the visual work. Visit The Pug Life to learn all about this project, and check out our Top 10 hardcore Pugs we’d definitely kick it with.
