Bugz, our Adoptable Dog of the week, is the best kind of bug – a cuddle bug! A Shepard mix from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Bugz is a happy and smart pup who can’t wait to steal your attention… and your lap! He’s neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bugz Tale:

Bugz is a super outgoing and friendly pup with a lot of love for people. He’s a true believer that any attention is good attention, so he always has his best smile on and is willing to sit, lay, stay, or come for a tasty treat – and he’s eagerly learning more! He’s been getting better at being in his crate for bedtime, and though it’s still not his favorite spot (because his people can’t fit in there with him!), he knows that it’s a safe place and will rest comfortably with his favorite blanket and chew toy.

Bugz is a great walking partner and doesn’t pull too much, but he wants to smell everything and say hi to everyone, so he’s working on his leash manners. His favorite kind of playtime is when he’s outside with a toy he can play tug with or just toss around the yard – especially with another dog or human friend – and he doesn’t try to escape the fence (even for those pesky squirrels). His best trick is giving hugs, and he loves to greet people with a good hug and kiss without being too pushy or rough.

This happy fellow is a gentle cuddle bug with lots of energy and he’s smart as a whip. If you have some tricks to teach this pup and a lap to rest his head on, he’d love to meet you!
