Sassy and classy, this tiny fella is ready to conquer your heart! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Fritz, a 7 years old Chihuahua mix from Eugene, Oregon. This petite charmer is neutered, up to date with his vaccines, and microchipped. Fritz is a friendly guy and will do well in a home with older respectful kids, but he’d prefer to be the only pet in the household.

Fritz’s Tale

If you want a best friend, someone that will gladly be by your side wherever you go and shower you with love and affection, Fritz is the guy you want. This pooch bonds strongly with his humans and will be your most loyal companion, always wagging his tail and following you around. Fritz will need daily walks and will love to be included in your activities, but what he loves the most is his daily dose of snuggles and cuddles: he’s really a sweet, loving guy that enjoys nothing more than being pampered. He will do best as an only pet as he’d cherish the opportunity to be a center of someone’s world and the only furbaby you give love and attention to.

Fritz is a friendly pooch but he also inherited some of that famed Chihuahua sass so you can expect a bit of attitude from him- but that only adds to his charm. He gets along with children, as long as they are respectful and well-mannered. Ideally, his new home would either be adult-only or with older children that wouldn’t overstep boundaries. Fritz is smart, spunky, and eager to please so he’ll quickly adapt to a new life- all he needs is someone willing to take a chance on him.

If you think that Fritz sounds like a dreamy doggo, contact Northwest Dog Project to learn more about him and how to apply to give him his happy ending.
