This cutie pie will disarm you with his wagging tail and a big smile! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Mighty, a 3 years old Labrador Retriever mix from Columbus, Ohio. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and housetrained. Mighty is a friendly dog that gets along with other dogs but needs a home without cats. He is good with kids, but a better fit for families with older children.

Mighty’s Tale

Energetic, playful, and sweet as they get, Mighty will charm you from the get-go. He is a kind-hearted goofball that has puppy-like energy and will appreciate owners that take him on hikes and adventures where he could get to run around and explore. He is good on a leash but can get distracted if he sees a deer- so an experienced handler would be the best. After a day of play and fun, Mighty will love nothing more than to snuggle and cuddle with his humans. He’s a true cuddle bug!

Mighty is housetrained and well-behaved and with the right people by his side, he could learn so much more. He does great with other dogs- his positive attitude makes it hard for other furballs not to like him- but he can thrive as an only pet, too. He’s a versatile fella! He doesn’t do well with kitties (sorry felines, but you’re so tempting to chase!) and would do best in a family with children 13 or older. Mighty is great with kids, but due to his size and excitability, he could inadvertently hurt a young child, so it’s best if there aren’t any around.

In case you want a loving, fun, and playful companion to share your days with, contact Cause for Canines to learn more about Mighty and how you can adopt him. Fingers crossed that you get to be the one to take him home!
