Get ready for this feisty firecracker of a pooch to brighten up your day! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Sadiee, a 5 years old Bull Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier mix from Cheyenne, Wyoming. This lovely girl is spayed, house trained and up to date on her shots. Sadiee is a friendly dog that does well with other dogs but would still prefer to be the only pet in the household. Sadiee doesn’t get along with cats.

Sadiee’s Tale

With her parentage being equally split between two very energetic and lively breeds, it’s no wonder Sadiee turned out to be so happy-go-lucky and active! She is always up for an adventure, a workout or simply some good old fashioned fetch fun in the backyard: as long she gets to be around you and burn off that extra energy, she’s a happy camper. The combination of smarts and high energy levels requires an adopter that will be prepared to offer daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep Sadiee happy.

A medium-sized pooch with a huge personality, Sadiee will charm your pants off from the start. She’s lively and intelligent and has a big heart to match her character- she will not miss a chance to shower you with love and affection. While Sadiee does like meeting new dogs on walks, she’d do best as an only pet- she certainly deserves to be someone’s whole world.

Sadiee is housebroken and walks well on a leash. With the right peeps by her side, she could learn so much more and truly blossom in the right environment. In case you lead an active lifestyle and think that a cheerful, energetic pooch would make a perfect companion to you or your family, contact Black Dog Animal Rescue for more information about Sadiee and the adoption process.

A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
