Gotta a lot of love and no pooch to give it to? This gal is ready to be showered with affection and snuggles! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Willow, a 3 years old Boxer mix from Nashville, Tennessee. This charming gal is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, and housetrained. Willow does well with other dogs but needs a home without children in the family.

Willow’s Tale

When she first ended up at the shelter, it broke Willow’s spirit- she was sad and withdrawn- but it changed for the better when she was pulled out of those pitiful conditions by a rescue organization. Willow’s spunky personality started to shine through as soon as she was placed with a foster family! This sweet girl is loving, well-mannered, and housetrained and she will make someone a perfect family pet. Whether it’s going on walks, cuddling on the couch, or fetching frisbee, this pooch will meet it with a wagging tail!

Willow needs an understanding, loving family that will understand that she is a bit shy at first and needs time to adapt to a new environment and gain trust. As soon as she relaxes, though, she becomes the sweetest cuddle bug! Willow does wonderfully with other easy-going dogs but even so, she would prefer to be the only pet in the home- so she could finally experience the pampering and showering with the love she never had the chance to before. She would do best in an adult-only home that has a fenced backyard where she could play and run around safely.

If you think that Willow sounds too good to be true, contact Agape Animal Rescue to learn more about this gorgeous gal and how you can make her a part of your family. Fingers crossed- she’s a catch!
