Meet Rusty, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. This sprightly senior Brittany male hails from Jackson, Mississippi. Rusty is already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rusty’s Tale:

Rusty is a sweet senior dog who found himself in a shelter because “he was too old to hunt”. Rusty is around 9 years old and has some graying of his face He was intact but has now been neutered and he’s also had a dental.

Rusty seems to know his name, and he’s good with other dogs. He knows the command “whoa” and will stop immediately. He loves trotting around outside and has a proud beautiful walk. He pulls on a leash some so needs work with that. He will need a fenced yard. He comes when called. He has had no accidents in house and comes back to the door when he is finished outside. Rusty is very affectionate and loves being petted.

Rusty still has a lot of life in him and would make a wonderful companion.
