This curly cuddle bug is ready to find a furrever family of his own! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Snickers, a 7 years old chocolate Poodle from Tallahassee, Florida. This little guy gets along great with other dogs, and he’s working on his house and crate training. Snickers is also neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested free of heartworms.

Snickers’ Tale

If you’ve always wanted a cuddly, affectionate, easy-going pooch, you will fall in love with Snickers. As his name suggests, this boy is as sweet as they come- he even has a chocolate-colored coat to boot! When you first meet him, Snickers is a bit shy and hesitant, but as soon as he gets to know you better, you won’t be able to get him out of your lap. But why would you want to, anyway?

Snickers is very loving and laid back, and his favorite activities include napping (preferably next to his favorite human), sitting in laps, cuddles, snuggles, and snatching every opportunity to be by your side. This gorgeous fella has a lot of love to give and just needs a family that would repay his affection in kind. He gets along with other dogs, but his fosters haven’t had a chance to introduce him to kids or cats yet, so they don’t know how he’d be with them. What they do know, though, is that Snickers would thrive in a calm, quiet home, with owners who love to cuddle him and shower him with attention. Do you think you fit the bill?

Contact Leon County Humane Society for more information on Snickers and how you can meet this adorable little guy.
