Frozen Candy Corn Dog Treat Recipe

Feel that chill? No, that’s not spooky vibes, it’s because of our Frozen Candy Corn Dog Treat Recipe!

With all those trick or treaters coming to your door, you dog may be tempted to reach into the candy bowl this Halloween. Why not whip up a dog-friendly version of the Halloween favorite this spooky season? This Frozen Candy Corn Dog Treat Recipe only takes 3 ingredients and is super easy to make – any ghost or goblin can do it!


Makes about 20 treats


Ingredients:


1 banana, mashed

1 cup plain yogurt, divided

1/2 cup puree pumpkin


Directions:


1.      Fill ice cube or silicone tray 1/3 full with plain yogurt, then place in the freezer. Freeze for 1-2 hours, or until yogurt is set.

2.      In a small bowl, mix 1/3 cup yogurt with canned pumpkin. Stir until combined, then spoon over frozen yogurt in molds. Make sure to leave space at the top for third layer.

3.      Return to freezer for another 1-2 hours, or until set.

4.      Mash banana in a small bowl and stir in remaining yogurt, then spoon over frozen pumpkin layer. Freeze overnight.

Pop out treats and serve.
