The only spooky thing about this DIY Halloween project is how fast your dog will snarf it up! Celebrating Halloween is not only for humans: our pets definitely want in on all the fun. If you’re throwing a Halloween party or have four-legged trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood, these goodie bags will be an absolute hit!

To boot, you can make these for a few bucks from items you already have at home, and it won’t take you more than an hour to pack quite a few of these Halloween baggies.

  1. Prepare treats you want to pack. Mix different varieties in one bag- you can even make your own dog biscuits if you’re feeling like it.
  2. Cut squares out of cellophane, approximately 12 x 12 inches in size. Place the treats in the center of the square and make a baggie by connecting the corners of the square and “pinching” the bag above the treats. Use twine, tape, or yarn to secure the bag.
  3. Decorate to your liking. You can use stickers, washi tape or add some cute collar tags to each of the bags. Let your creativity soar- as long as there are delicious treats inside the bag, the dogs won’t care how it looks like.
