Crazy about cats? You won’t want to miss this year’s CatCon, the trendy convention that’s all about cats. It’s the best place to get your hairball on!

If names like Lil Bub, White Coffee Cat, Luna Rose and Oskar the Blind Cat make you want to curl up with your iPhone and purr, then mark your calendar, block your vacay and book a flight to LaLa land for the top pop culture event for cat lovers the world over; 2017 CatCon.

This year’s converge takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center August 12 and 13 and gives you the chance to rub shoulders (or ankles) with both human and feline influencers including Batman nemesis Julie Newmar (the original Catwoman), Ian Somerhalder from the Vampire Diaries, Moshow the Cat Rapper, feline faves from the “ Cats of Instagram” and more.

Running from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, tickets are priced per day and give you access to an expansive array of displays and seminars including more than 100 booths that feature merchandise devoted to cats and their people, the chance to learn more about cat health at the CatCon Awareness Pavilion and the opportunity to sit in on seminars like They Put the Special in Special Needs, The Furrocious Fashion Face-Off, CatCon Video Festival, Kitten Lady Tells All, Men and Cats: a Love Story, and The CatCon Awards, presented by the Maker of Frontline Gold.

Of course if you’re considering adding to your feline family, the Furever Home Adoption Lounge provides the ideal opportunity for prospective kitties to check you out (lint roller optional) and if you meet with their approval, a nominal $10 adoption fee gets you not only a wonderful little life-mate but a “Kitty Starter Kit Swag Bag” filled with all sorts of goodies provided by 2017 CatCon sponsor Rachael Ray Nutrish.

But CatCon also understands their audience on a deeper level and is committed to giving back; each year donating to organizations that support the health and well-being of cats and kittens across the country. This year $2.00 from each ticket sold will go to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation which works to deliver unique programs and services that include public outreach, education, and grants in support of Creatures, Environment, Youth, and Grassroots initiatives.

Tickets for this 3 annual celebration of all things cat are on sale now and are sure to be lapped up by feline fanciers faster than you can say “saucer of milk”. Visit catconworldwide.com for more details.
