Want a sweet energetic pooch to be your workout companion? Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Ace, a 2 years old Catahoula Leopard Dog and American Pit Bull Terrier mix from Westampton, New Jersey. He is neutered, healthy, young, and ready to find his forever family. Due to his size, strength, and energy levels, Ace requires a home without any other pets or young children in the family. He makes an ideal pet for an active single or a couple that could shower him with the love he deserves.

Ace’s Tale

A mix of Catahoula dog and a Pittie, Ace turned out to be quite the looker – his beautiful blue-grey coat sports leopard sports, making him unique, inside and out. Ace is young and strong, so he needs a dog-savvy adopter who’s had previous experience with large breed dogs and will know how to ensure Ace productively burns off extra energy. A huge plus would be a securely fenced backyard where he could freely run around, explore, and play on his own without the possibility of getting out – only tall fences, please.

Ace needs to be the only pet in the house, so no kitties or other dogs in the family. He would do best in an adult-only family, as he’s very big and energetic so he could inadvertently knock over a young kid. Ideally, his new family would be active and up for adventures – Ace needs a lot of exercise to stay fit and out of trouble. Of course, there’s much more to this pooch than playfulness and high energy levels. Once you get to know Ace, you’ll be completely disarmed by his goofy, sweet temperament. He’s one happy-go-lucky dog and will make anyone’s day brighter with his silly antics!
