Adoptable Dog of the Week- Cross
Goofy, cute, and loving- who could resist this handsome boy? Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Cross, a 5 and half years old Labrador Retriever mix from Atlanta, Georgia. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped. Cross does well with other friendly dogs and would do best in a home without children under the age of 12.
This pretty pooch didn’t have the best start in life- he was obtained on Craigslist and then abandoned in a boarding kennel. Luckily for him, though, he has gotten a second chance at a happy ending and is looking for someone to give him a furever home where he would get the love and care he deserves. Cross is a happy-go-lucky dog that loves nothing more than to retrieve fetched tennis balls, so a sure fire way to his heart is to throw a ball and watch him make a run for it. At first, Cross might be reserved with strangers, but as soon as he realises that you’re a friend, he’ll shower you with love and affection. He’s a real cuddlebug!
Cross does good with other dogs and will benefit from having a canine companion to “show him the ropes” and help him integrate in a new environment. He seems to get along with sweet, playful, female dogs the best, but as long as the pooch is friendly and has a similar character, they might make fast friends. Cross hasn’t had a chance to be around children or cats, so his new home shouldn’t have any felines in the family or children under the age of 12.
If this sweet boy has caught your eye, you can contact Canine Crusaders of Atlanta to learn more about him and how the adoption process works. Fingers crossed- he truly is a catch!
A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
