Gabby, Gabby, hey! Meet Gabby, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. She’s an adult Chihuahua mix from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gabby is already spayed, good with older children, good with dogs

Gabby’s Tale:

Gabby is a pretty girl Chihuahua mix. She is 90% housebroken and knows how to use a doggy door, but needs to have a secure backyard because she is little and sometimes likes to go exploring. If you go outside with her she is 100% housebroken because she just likes people outside with her (and everywhere with her).

Gabby is especially fond of women and warms up much faster to women than men, but she can love everyone. Her current foster house has an older woman and man and a young adult woman and man and she has warmed up to all four. She just needs everyone to show her love by playing a part in taking her out, feeding her treats and giving her love then she realizes everyone is her friend.

She barks non-stop at strangers, which doesn’t make her a good companion for any outings. She is more of a stay at home with little company kind of gal. Also, because of her nervousness she is probably not a great fit for small children. She does however get along with dogs of all sizes and currently shares her foster home with dogs ranging from 7-60 lbs.

She has a very expressive personality that makes her shine once she gets to know you. After a couple of days you will see she will start wanting to play and be with you everywhere. Once she is comfortable with you, she will forever be your shadow and sidekick in your home. We just love her sweet heart!
