This good girl has a big heart- all she needs is someone to give it to! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Mazie, a 2 years old shepherd and cattle dog mix from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped. She is also crate trained and potty trained. Mazie gets along with other dogs but would prefer a home with older children or adults only.

Mazie’s Tale

Thanks to the working dog breeds in her lineage, Mazie is a pooch that’s full of energy and very playful! She will thrive in a house with a fenced backyard where she could run around and explore safely and get the exercise she needs. She also loves going on walks, but the loud noises of the city can sometimes make her feel stressed so she might not be the ideal type of pet for an apartment. Mazie is a sweet, loving gal that is fiercely loyal and will have protective tendencies over her humans. All she really wants is to spend time with you and will cherish every moment- she is affectionate and cuddly, and as soon as she relaxes around you, you’ll see her sweet side.

Mazie does great with other dogs and would love to share her new home with a four-legged friend with a similar friendly disposition. She hasn’t been tested around cats, though, so some meet and greet might be needed. As a reactive pooch that appreciates peace and quiet, Mazie needs a home without young children in it. She makes an ideal companion for singles or couples!

If you’ve fallen in love with Mazie, contact Twin Cities Pet Rescue to learn more about her needs and personality and how you can be the one to give her a furever home.

A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
