One look at these caramel eyes, and you’ll fall in love for life! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Jango, a Brittany and Husky mix from Boonville, Missouri. This lovely girl is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, and wouldn’t mind sharing her home with other furry friends- she gets along with both cats and dogs.

Jango’s Story

Although you might not be able to tell now, Jango had a ruff start. She was found abandoned on Christmas day, starving and scared. Luckily, she was rescued by the kind people that have helped her blossom into the dog she is today. And Jango is one pawesome pooch!

Jango is a calm, cool doggo. She’s not a barker, and she’s not overly energetic- a nice quiet family would be a perfect match for her. Though this little lady is perfectly happy to curl up in a comfy, sunny spot and just hang out near you, she will need to get her dose of “wiggle butt zoomies” from time to time. And she loves outdoors, so having a fenced yard is a big plus!

A real cuddle bug, Jango has a lot of love to give- and she’d be more than happy to snuggle with you on the sofa, get belly rubs and some cuddle time. This affectionate girl will love spending time with you! She gets along great with dogs and cats as well, but children make her anxious. She needs a family that will understand that she needs a stable and peaceful environment. Jango would actually make a perfect canine companion to a dog-loving senior, as she matches their calm and relaxed energy.

A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
