Ever wish you could make a difference in the world just by buying a toy that will make your dog go wild? Now you can, with WO’s new Wild Collection!

Josh Allen and his wife own a local pet supply store in Bozeman, Montana called Dee-O-Gee (see what they did there?!). Their goal was to sell high-quality dog products that were made in the USA and to market to conscious pet owners who wanted the best for their pets.

In the fall of 2012, Allen took a trip to Ethiopia, where he spent time in local villages working with orphans and widows of the Addis Ababa area. He couldn’t believe that the capital city of a country was so basic and primitive, and his heart hurt at how difficult it was for the local people to have basic resources and access to health care and proper nutrition. There, his heart knew he needed to help the widows and orphans of the area and that’s how the WO (widows and orphans) line of pet toys came to be. He created them so a percentage of every sale could help widows and orphans in Ethiopia and currently, the purchase of these toys helps buy meals for widows and orphans.

The first two toys in the Play collection (The Bone and The Disc) helped raise enough to provide over 15,000 meals for widows and orphans, and they are now looking to expand their reach with the introduction of four fabulous new toy designs!

The WO Wild collection has the Lion, the Elephant, the Octopus and the Fish. All four have that fun crinkly effect that makes your dog go nuts, and also offer a climbing rope feature, a squeaker, pet safe stuffing and strong cordura fabric as the covering.

Each toy bought provides two meals for orphaned children, and makes you and your dog thrilled in the process as these become their favorite new toys! Allen says that the WO Wild collection is the expansion of their company mission to help widows and orphans globally with the creation of unique products for pets. All of the WO Wild collection will be available at various independent pet stores across the US in October 2017, as well as online presales on their website that are available at a $2 discount through October 15.
