Cat Treadmill Works as a Feline Personal Trainer [Video]
We’re totally lying. That’s exactly what the Little Cat personal trainer is and we pretty much think it’s the cat’s meow. If you’re looking to spend $1800 on a hamster wheel for your cat, that is.
The Little Cat comes from a South Korean company called Pet Ding and it really is an innovative idea. Odds are you don’t think of ‘walking’ your cat for exercise, and since she’s completely content to lay around fat and happy, why would you?
Well, because obesity in pets is a big deal–ever rising and leading to a host of health complications that can shorten the life of your cat. Not to mention, Pet Ding thinks that your cat might just be so bored that they’ll stoop to chasing an LED light around and around and around and around–and that’s just good fun and entertainment for kittehs everywhere.
Introduced at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and coming to the United States at the end of March, the Little Cat works with your iOS/Android apps and allows you to do things like change the speed of the treadmill from your phone.
Because who doesn’t want thoughts of, “What the eff?” going through their cat’s head as they’re getting their daily workout in, while you sadistically make that fat cat work for her kibble?
The app also gives you valuable health information, though we’re betting the look on your cat’s face will probably tell you all you need to know about how effective this baby is, but just in case it doesn’t, you’ve got to watch the video and you’ll be sold.
Go ahead, get your checkbooks out now. You know you want one, and you know your cat will hate you for it. Then again, what’s new?
