This Saturday, November 5, elite pampered pooches will have the opportunity to shake a few dogs’ tails at the Sixth Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships.

Dogs will walk the red carpet in front of thousands of attendees, fabulously competing in categories such as top overall appearance, charisma and unforgettable outfits. Dogs will receive prizes in the form of goodie bags for best Oh My Dog! Couture in both small and large groups, Best Costume and Best In Show. Winners of each category will also win $100 in cash and the Best In Show fashionista will trot away with $200 as best overall.

The Polo Party originally launched in 2011, with nearly 13,000 attending the country’s most attended polo event. The Canine Couture show was introduced two years ago by Oh My Dog Boutique, and Owner and Operator Jackie Griffin says that it is a fun and original event that allows dogs’ personalities to shine as they star in their own cat dog-walk shows.

All breeds, sizes and ages are eligible to participate and strut their stuff from one end of the polo field to another in front of all of those polo partiers, and if you’re in the area, your pooch won’t want to miss it. Polo may be about horses, but clearly, Canine Couture will go to the dogs!
