There are some days we write stories that we could not make up if we tried. Today is one of those.

According to news station WFAA-8, an Arlington, Texas man decided to pull out his gold speedo and take a trip to Bark Park Central dog park in Dallas, Texas.

Now, obviously, the gold speedo is a little bit on the odd-side when it comes to ‘what to wear to the Bark Park,’ but hey, to each their own, right?

The thing is, though…he didn’t go with a dog. And he wasn’t wearing anything else but the speedo. And his entire body was covered in peanut butter. I’m betting you can see where this is going.

Yes, he stood in the park for a full five minutes letting the dogs enjoy the equivalent of a Human Kong, and his girlfriend videoed the event for posterity.

Because really, who’d believe that otherwise?

Apparently, though, the stunt was part of a bet that Steven Shrout lost as a result of bad calls in a fantasy football league he’s in. He came in last, and he either had to pay $250 in ‘fines’ or let the dogs have at him at the Bark Park.

He said that he was hoping that not many people saw him (ummmm….yeah, okay) and he could do it quickly.

I have to say–there’s nothing I love better than some slobbery puppy kisses to make my day, but covered in peanut butter with only a gold speedo bathing suit?

Yep, I’d be pulling the wallet out for that lost bet.

Kudos to you, Steven Shrout!
