Feisty and dandy, this dapper doggo will win you over with his lovely personality and cute looks! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Finn, a 6 year old Parson Russell Terrier from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped. Fin is a spirited terrier and will need an experienced owner- he should be the only pet in a home without children.

Finn’s Tale

Finn was picked up from the streets as a stray and ended up in a shelter- and heartworm positive at that, too. Luckily for him, though, he was transferred to a rescue where he got all the care and love he needed to recuperate and thrive. Thanks to veterinary care at the rescue, he’s now negative for heartworm, neutered, and has had his teeth professionally clean. All that remains is that this cutie pie finds his home now! Finn is a typical terrier through and through: energetic, stubborn, spirited, and fiercely devoted to his humans. As a result, his rescuers would love it if he would go to an adopter that has previous experience with breeds such as Jack Russell Terrier or Parson Russell Terriers.

Finn is aggressive towards other dogs and likes to mark trees and has a prey drive like most terriers, so he would need to be the only pet in the home. Also, he does best with adults, so also no young kids in the home, either. He has a strong personality and needs someone that can be a pack leader and know how to handle a feisty little terrier with a big attitude.

If you have previous experience with terrier breeds and think Finn sounds just like a fella for your family and lifestyle, contact Dogs As Family, Inc. to learn more about him and how you can adopt him.
