Adoptable Dog of the Week- Scooby
He might not be a talking pooch, but do he sure wants a gang of his own! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Scooby, a 3.5 to 4 years old Miniature Pinscher Mix from Little Rock, Arkansas. This adorable doggo is neutered, heartworm negative, housetrained, crate trained, and current on vaccinations. He also gets along with other dogs, and he’s great with kids.
This little fella might be small, but his heart is definitely big! His rescuers say that Scooby is a walking, woofing pile of pure puppy love: he’s yet to meet someone he didn’t adore. As long as he has his human by his side, walks, heaps of treats, squeaky balls- this pupper is one happy camper. With the exception of storms, which Scooby is afraid of, he’s really enjoying all of the pooch-reserved perks he can get. And, don’t worry, storms might frighten this cute guy, but he won’t go on a barking frenzy because of it- he’ll simply try and find a safe nook to hide in until it passes.
His sweet nature and lovable personality make Scooby a favorite with anyone who gets a chance to meet him- whether they have two or four legs. Scooby gets along great with other dogs, and does wonderfully with respectful kids. While he still hasn’t had a chance to meet a kitty, it’s doubtful that he’d be anything other than a furball of affection with felines, as well. Essentially, all Scooby wants is a furrever home of his own, and he wouldn’t mind if he had to share it! (Although he’d manage as an only pet, too- talk about a versatile canine.)

A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
