Adoptable Dog of the Week- Lollie
If you want to share your life with a happy, silly, goofy girl that always has a smile on her face, this is the pooch for you! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Lollie, a little over 2.5 years old American Pitbull Terrier Mix from Dayton, Ohio. She is spayed and will be microchipped and up to date on her vaccines prior to her adoption. Lollie is a sweet, easygoing girl that gets along with almost anybody, but it’s best if she meets any pets she’d share her new home with before adoption.
Through no fault of her own, Lollie’s one of the longest residents in the shelter – and no one knows why, as she’s a lovely dog with a wonderful personality. She was confiscated from a bad situation with multiple other dogs, but her past hasn’t left a mark on her character. Lollie’s a happy-go-lucky dog with a positive attitude and all she wants is to be snuggled all day long. She’s carefree, loving, and will make someone really happy – she will give you lots of kisses and tail wags in return for cuddles!
Lollie is currently going through training classes where she is working hard and picking up new skills to flaunt at her new home, and since she’s eager to please, she’s doing great. Since she hasn't had a chance to spend time around other pets and children while in the shelter, it’s best to contact the shelter for more information if you have kids or another dog/cat in the home, so you could arrange a meet and see how everyone gets along.
If you want a dog to make you smile every day and give you lots of love and affection, contact the Humane Society of Greater Dayton to learn more about Lollie and how you can adopt her.
A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
