The stamps will feature four well-known military working dogs: the German Shepherd, the Labrador Retriever, the Belgian Malinois and the Dutch Shepherd.

The stamps were designed by DKNG Studios Art Director Greg Breeding and feature a star background in the center of each red, white, blue and gold dog decoration.

According to a press release about the stamps, The Postal Service said it wanted to honor the loyal and brave dogs of the nation’s military in this way.

The U.S. Postal Service is also releasing additional stamps that feature tennis champion Maureen Connolly Brinker and engines from the transcontinental railroad and will be released at a date later this year.
