This stunning girl is looking for a home she could play all day long! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Gemma, a one and a half year old Pitbull and Lab mix from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Almost completely white, this gorgeous pooch weighs 52 pounds. Gemma is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She does well with other dogs and children.

Gemma’s Tale

If you want a pooch that’s full of life and character, you’re in luck – Gemma is a vibrant, happy-go-lucky pupper that loves nothing more than to play and snuggle with her humans. Her favorite things in the world are playing fetch and tug of war, although she wouldn’t say no to playing with squeaky toys, either. Gemma also loves going on walks – she’s an active and energetic dog.

But don’t let that fool you- she also has an easy-going, sweet side to her. She’ll try to sit in your lap and she adores cuddles and smooches. Her friendliness extends to other canines, as well. She would do great with other dogs in the home (if they are open to playing with her) but wouldn’t mind being solo, either. Gemma is a flexible pooch! She even does marvelous with kids- no surprise there, considering her passion for playing.

Despite her young age, Gemma is already housebroken, leash trained and crate trained. She is highly treat and praise motivated, so there’s no saying what other fun stuff this smart cookie could learn. All she needs is a furever home to settle in and a patient pawrent willing to help her reach her potential!

In case you’ve fallen in love with Gemma and her spunky personality sounds like the perfect match for your family, contact Forever Yours Dog Rescue for more information on how to adopt her.
