When he’s not busy solving crimes, this trusty sidekick would love to snuggle up with you! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Watson, a 3 to 4 years old Terrier mix from Fort Collins, Colorado. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Watson gets along with dogs that are easy-going but requires a home without children.

Watson’s Tale

If you need a Watson to your Sherlock, look no more- this is the perfect sidekick for you! This gorgeous guy is smart, charming, and loves being around people. He is a dream on the leash and loves nothing more than to cuddle and snuggle with his humans. That’s except maybe solving crimes like who stole his treats or where the heck did the squirrel go this time, but as soon as those mysteries are resolved, he’ll be right there to get some much-deserved pets. Watson is a laid-back guy that will easily adapt to his new family and will fit right in with your lifestyle. All he needs is plenty of love, yummy treats, and daily walks and he’ll be happy as a clam.

Watson would do best as the only pet, as he thrives in a calm environment and, in all honesty, wouldn’t mind being pampered as the only furchild. He can get along with other dogs, as long as they are not overly energetic and pushy and can respect boundaries- Watson needs his space. He hasn’t been tested around cats, but doesn’t fit in with families with small children, so it would be best if his new family is adults only.

If you’ve fallen head of heels for this black-coated stunner, contact Animal Friends Alliance for more information on Watson and how you can adopt him. Next stop- solving neighborhood mysteries and giving out belly scrubs all day long!
