The bigger the ears, the bigger the love, right? Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Lilac, a 4-year old pointer mix from Boston, Massachusetts. This cutie pie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, housetrained, good with older kids and dogs.

Lilac’s Tale

Lilac’s foster family says that she is a “total package dog” because she has it all- good looks, brains, and a beautiful personality. Her favorite thing in the world is to run around the yard with her foster siblings and then curl up on the couch. She gets along great with other dogs, and would prefer a home with at least one canine companion to play with- she does much better with other pups around! Cats, however, are not Lilac’s friendly list, and she’d prefer a feline-free household.

When it comes to people, Lilac can be a little shy and skittish at times, but once she gets to know you, she ‘s all in! She’s big on cuddling and snuggling, and will shower you with affection- all she wants is the same in return. Lilac also loves kids, but a lower-key home with older kids or no kids would be best for her.

Lilac is quite a smart cookie, so it’s no wonder that she’s crate trained, housetrained, knows all of her commands and walks great on a leash.

This wonderful gal is everything you could ever wish for in a pooch. If you want to adopt her, you’ll find all the information on Last Hope K9 Rescue website.

A proud mama to seven dogs and ten cats, Angela spends her days writing for her fellow pet parents and pampering her furballs, all of whom are rescues. When she's not gushing over her adorable cats or playing with her dogs, she can be found curled up with a good fantasy book.
