A Louisiana UPS driver was caught taking selfies with some of his client’s dogs, showing that there is such a thing as puppy love for mail carriers!

Doniel Kidd is a self-professed animal lover. In an article from The Dodo, he says that if he has the ability to pet a dog and make it feel good, that’s his goal.

So, pups on his UPS routes in Louisiana are given lots of love and pets. One customer, Staci Burns, even caught Kidd on camera, unbeknownst to him, when he was taking some ‘hello’ selfies with her three dogs. He was laying on the ground with them, clearly loving every minute of the interaction!

Burns says that Kidd is one of the kindest people she knows, and his heart for animals is endearing. Another of Kidd’s clients, John Danforth, says that the dogs on Kidd’s routes have an affinity for Kidd as well, perking up and running to greet him with barks when they hear his UPS truck coming around.

Kidd says that being an animal lover aside, petting and building relationships with the dogs on his routes makes him a better deliverer. In fact, it even makes him indispensable to delivery, as two dogs he’s known since they were puppies, Willie and Millie, won’t let the competitor FedEx person make deliveries. Kidd says that Millie and Willie are UPS loyal, and these pictures make the reason behind that crystal clear!
