Bigger can be better – especially when you’re talking about Montie, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. Montie is an adult Great Dane mix from Asheville, North Carolina. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Montie’s Story:

Hey, there, I’m Montie! I just know my big brown eyes are melting your heart right now. I’m about 5 years old, but I still act like a goofy teenager. My silly antics will make you smile every day. Don’t let my spots fool you; I am mostly Great Dane, though I didn’t inherit their height or weight. I’d love a home with a big yard to run around in and someone to goof off with. I don’t really know my own size, so I would prefer a family without cats, small dogs and small children. Did I tell you how big my paws are? I’d shake your hand, but my manners aren’t super-polished just yet. I’m looking forward to finding someone who could teach me tricks and good house etiquette. (The staff here says I am very receptive to training.) Come visit me in the shelter. You won’t regret it!
