Art imitating life has new meaning as a New York artist has created a photo series that combines dogs and food for delicious adorableness.


An adorable photo series that highlights the cutest dogs in pictures of food has a cult following on Instagram, and the artist, who goes by Max, says the Photoshopped dogs are the stars of his work.

The project takes tasty morsels and mixes in pictures of various dogs for a delightful dish created to paw-fection. While Max does pay attention to the color, textures and shapes of the dinners, drinks and deserts he uses, he focuses on the perfect pup combo.

Though he’s grown quite popular with over half-a-million followers on Instagram alone, he does accept commissioned work and users can submit messages to have him edit their pups in a puppy plate.
